How-to Disconnect from a Remote Desktop Session

- After using Remote Desktop, you will likely still want your computer to remain on.
- To close a Remote Desktop session without turning your computer off, select the white 'X' in the blue Remote Desktop bar at the top of your screen.
- A box will pop-up stating that your remote session will be disconnected. Select OK.
- The Remote Desktop session will close. The computer that you were connected to should remain on for the next time that you would like to use Remote Desktop.
- If you have any questions or issues with Remote Desktop, please submit a request here and a technician will be happy to assist you.
