Why Should I Clear My Cache and Cookies?
Your browser stores temporary data to make your web experience faster. Sometimes, this old data can cause problems.
Instructions for Desktop Browsers
The quickest way to begin this process on most Windows browsers is with the keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+Delete. On a Mac, it is Cmd+Shift+Delete.
Google Chrome & Microsoft Edge
- Press Ctrl+Shift+Delete (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+Delete (Mac).
- A new window will open. At the top, set the "Time range" to All time.
- Check the boxes for "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files".
- Click the Clear data button.
Mozilla Firefox
- Press Ctrl+Shift+Delete (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+Delete (Mac).
- A new window will open. Next to "Time range to clear," select Everything.
- Check the boxes for "Cookies" and "Cache".
- Click the OK button.
Apple Safari (on macOS)
- Click Safari in the top menu bar, then select Settings (or Preferences).
- Go to the Privacy tab and click the Manage Website Data... button.
- Click the Remove All button, then click Remove Now to confirm. This clears cookies and cache.
- To clear history, click the History menu in the top menu bar, then select Clear History. Choose all history and confirm.

iPhone / iPad (Safari)
- Open the Settings app on your device.
- Scroll down and tap Safari.
- Scroll down and tap Clear History and Website Data.
- A confirmation window will appear. Tap Clear History and Data to confirm.
Android (Chrome)
- Open the Chrome app.
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner, then tap History.
- Tap Clear Browse data....
- At the top, set the time range to All time.
- Check the boxes for "Cookies and site data" and "Cached images and files".
- Tap the Clear data button.
After clearing your browser's data, close and reopen it completely before attempting to log in to the FAU service again
