Changing your password on the FAU Research Computing Clusters

There are two ways of changing your Research Computing password. 

1. Web Based, visit https://access.hpc.fau.edu/rc and following the onscreen instructions.
   
   
   or
2. The Research Computing Cluster supports users changing their password from the command line like traditional Unix/Linux machines. To update your Research Computing Password follow the following steps. 
   1. Log in to Koko using SSH or OnDemand
   2. ssh netid@athene-login.hpc.fau.edu
   3. ​Enter the passwd command and follow the prompts
      1. Enter your current password
      2. Enter your new password
      3. Confirm your new password
