Account Blocked Due to Suspicious Activity 🔒
Purpose: Sometimes, when you log in to any FAU website, your account may be locked or disabled. This happens because Microsoft's security system has detected unusual or risky login activity on your account.

Question: Why is my account blocked in the first place?
- Usually, your account is blocked because you might have intentionally or accidentally denied a MFA (Microsoft Authenticator sign-in) request.
- Can also be due to sign-in locations switching rapidly when using a VPN.
- Any sign-in behavior that Microsoft flags as risky.
How to get reactivate the account:
- Go to accounts.fau.edu
- Select "Forgot Your Password"
- Complete the password reset process.
- Wait 5-10 minutes for Microsoft systems to sync.
- Try signing in again.
Please note that you must update your password, even if it is already correct.
