Remove Owl Apps Access from a Device

If you need to remove your FAU Google account from a device that you do not have available, use the account security page to review and remove signed-in devices.

  1. Sign in to your Google account using your FAUNet ID and password.
  2. Complete Microsoft Authenticator verification, if prompted.
  3. After signing in, select the Google apps menu in the top right corner, then select Manage Your Google Account.
  4. On the Account page, select Security & sign-in.
  5. Go to Your devices.
  6. Select Manage all devices.
  7. Click on the device you'd like to remove.
  8. Select Sign out.

After the account is removed, the device should be prompted to sign in again when attempting to access the account.

Troubleshooting

  • If you cannot sign in, confirm that your FAU credentials work for other FAU services.
  • If prompted, approve the sign-in using Microsoft Authenticator.
  • If you do not recognize a signed-in device, remove it and change your passwords.
  • If removing a device does not work, sign out of all sessions if the option is available.
  • If you believe your account is compromised, contact the Help Desk as soon as possible.
