Set up Task/Email Notification

Summary

Instructions on how to set up Task/Email Notifications on Frevvo

Body

During the flow creation process on Frevvo, designers are able to set up Task/Email notifications to alert users that they have a new task to complete in Frevvo.

The task/email notification is setup to use the "Role" & "User" controls (found on the left panel under Properties) to determine who to email the notification to. For roles you are going to have to utilize Frevvo groups.

To use this feature, in the flow select the form where you want the task notification to be setup. Go to icon that looks like a chain and click it to create a linked form that the 2nd party will be use to fulfill their task. The linked form will only be viewable by the second party.

Click on the linked form and on the bottom of the left panel under under properties you will see some blue linked options, select the one that says "Set up Task/Email Notification Email".  This will bring up the Task Notification Email window.

Setup Task Notification:

On the task notification window, Frevvo is able to automatically pull information from the data entered in that form to use in your notification message. This can be done from the dropdown controls to the right of the Subject line and Message box.

For example, if your form has a control called {studentName} where the user enters their name, you can have Frevvo automatically pull the name from the form into the email notification to say:  Subject: You have a task from {studentName}

To pull information into the Subject or Message box, simply click on the dropdown control next to the box that you want the information to be in and click on the name of the control you wish to pull from. The task notification will be sent to the second party when the user submits their form.
