These instructions will allow you to connect to VPN and then use Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac to connect to your Windows desktop.
First install Pulse Secure for Mac
After installed, please use the instructions available here to connect to VPN.
Once connected to the VPN via Pulse Secure, you can follow the steps below to remote to your desktop computer.
(1) To remote into your work computer, please go to your app store (on your Mac) and download Microsoft Remote Desktop. If you already have this downloaded, please skip this step.
(2) Once you confirm it's downloaded, you can open Microsoft Remote Desktop and select add desktop.
(3) Type the computer name(BOCXXXX-XXXXXX) or the IP address(XX.XX.XX.XX) and in some cases the full computer name(BOCXXXX-XXXXXX.irm.ed.fau.edu) of your work computer, you will select the drop-down box user account "ask me every time" and select add user account.
(4) Type fau\username and your password. and the Select 'Save'.
When all is completed the user should be able to access their desktop remotely from the MAC.
