Video ID Verification 📷
Purpose: To enhance security and respond to the increase in compromised accounts, the Help Desk now requires video ID verification for account access assistance. Please ensure you have a valid photo ID and a camera-enabled device available for identity verification. At FAU, we primarily use Google Meet for this process; however, Zoom or Microsoft Teams may also be used.
Question: What form of ID do you accept?
- We accept various forms of ID such as your FAU Owl Card, driver's license, and passport.
Question: How will I be able to join the video call?
- An OIT Technician will send a Google Meet invitation to an email you currently have access to.
