What is My FAU Email Address? 📧

Overview: 

  • Your FAU email address is created from your FAUNet ID, which is a unique identifier assigned to you by Florida Atlantic University. You will use your full FAU email address to log in to most FAU services, including Canvas, MYFAU, Workday, and other university systems. (Please note all current students & Employees email are on Microsoft Outlook) 

Standard users 

For most students, faculty and staff your log-on credentials is in the format FAUNetID@fau.edu:

  • Standard Email Address Format is FAUNetID@fau.edu

  • Example: If your FAUNet ID is jdoe, your email address will be jdoe@fau.edu

College of Nursing or Medicine users

If you are part of health sciences fields such as the College of Nursing or the College of Medicine your email address is FAUNetID@health.fau.edu:

  • HIPAA Protected Email Address Format is FAUNetID@health.fau.edu
  • Example: If your FAUNet ID is jdoe, your email address will be jdoe@health.fau.edu
