If you switched over to a new phone. Please try the the following troubleshooting steps to recover your authenticator:
- Try and login to account.microsoft.com
- If you set up to receive SMS codes and your phone number is the same or have Microsoft Authenticator set up on a backup deivce, you should be able to login to connect your authenticator or edit your security options by going to Security Info > Add sign-in method.
- If you do not receive prompts on your new device, you will not be able to access your account. Please call the FAU Help Desk at (561) 297-3999 to reset your MFA. Be prepared to provide a photocopy of a valid ID (Driver’s License, OWL Card, Military ID, Passport, etc.) for verification.
