Migrating Frevvo Forms, Flows, and Applications to the New Tenant

Migrating Frevvo Forms

To move forms/flows from the old tenant to the new tenant you have to download the form/flow and then upload it to the new tenant. 

Tip

** Instead of individually downloading and uploading each specific form/flow to the new Frevvo Tenant we recommend to instead upload the entire application that your form/flow is in.  This method is simple and easier to do. If you have some old forms/flows in the application that you do not need, still download the full application and then remove what's not needed.

 

  1. In your Frevvo account in the old tenant, go to "My Applications" in the left panel on screen. 
  2. Go to the application where the form you want is in and click the Download button. 

     
  3. Open a new private browser and login to your account on the new Frevvo tenant: https://forms.fau.edu/frevvo/web/tn/fau/login.
  4. In the new Frevvo tenant go to "My Applications" like you did in the old tenant and on the right hand side click upload. 
  5. In the upload window, click "Choose File" and navigate to the zip file that was downloaded in the second step and select it.
  6. Click on the blue upload button to upload the zip file to Frevvo. 
  7. Your form is now uploaded in the new tenant.
IMPORTANT BEFORE GOING LIVE

After migrating your forms, BEFORE you deploy and/or make them live, make sure that all needed saved/searchable fields are enabled on all forms and that all access permissions are correct.

 

Enabling Saved/Searchable Fields After Migrating

You can check to see if your saved/searchable fields are enabled with these steps:

  1. Select your form on Frevvo and navigate to left sided panel under Properties.
  2. Under the properties section click on the blue link "Click to setup Searchable fields"
  3. In the Searchable field pop up window you can set-up what saved and searchable fields you want to use.  
    • Click on the Saved Fields or Searchable Fields tabs on the top of the setup Pop-up window to choose which field you want.
    • To select which fields you want, you can can drag and drop your selected fields or use the arrow controls provided.

4. When you are finished configuring your setup click finish and make sure to save your form/flow before exiting.

 

Form Access Permissions:

After migrating your forms to the new tenant check to make sure that the access permissions on the form are correct.  You can do this by:

  1. Navigate to where your form is located in Frevvo.
  2. On the right side of the form, select the lock icon that is next to the red delete button. 

     
  3. This will bring up the Access Control window.  From here you can grant access permissions, check the permissions to see who has what access and to what extent. 
    • If you want to grant a user access to this form, you can do so by selecting on the type of permission you want to give in the dropdown. 
    • Then under the Users box, enter the NetID of the user you want to give access to (ie jsmith), as you type, the netID should pop up.
  4. Click finish to update the form permissions.
