Mapping to Adobe From Frevvo

Frevvo forms are capable of mapping the data inputted to pdf forms.

To map the data to a pdf, a pdf form has to be created as an adobe acroform pdf, NOT LiveCycle.  Frevvo does not support Adobe XFA Forms (LiveCycle).

  1. After the duplicated form has been created as a pdf, go to frevvo and select the form where you want to map from.
  2. On the top menu bar, click on the icon next to the rules icon. It's the paper icon with the folded corner.
  3. From there click on the new button and upload your duplicated pdf form
    • Select Generate fillable form
    • Name the pdf form that you are mapping to.
  4. Click on Map Fields option to begin mapping.
  5. To map fields, on the left panel, under "Mapping Form Outline" expand the control.
  6. From there you can see all the control names of on your form and you can drag and drop the control name on the corresponding field on the pdf.

Mapping Repeaters to PDF forms:

Frevvo allows you to map data in repeaters to the pdf using the indexing column in their field mapping window.  To map data that are in repeaters, your pdf form must have a field for every repeater instance that is in your Frevvo form.

Follow steps 1-6 that was described above.

7. To choose which instance of the repeating control that you want to map, click on the fillable field that you want to map the second instance to.

8.  Frevvo's field mapping window will pop up and the first row will display he control name of the field that you want to map.  Find the index column on the far right side.

9. The index column will display 1, which means that the data it will map will be the first instance. Change the number to 2 to map the second instance of that control.

10. Repeat this for all the controls that you need to map multiple instances of, changing the number of the index to match the number of instance.
