Connecting to the University's Network

Overview

The university has several Wi-Fi networks available. Select the correct network based on your affiliation:

• If you are a student, faculty or staff please use FAUWPA2 or Eduroam
• If you are an unaffiliated guest on campus, use FAU Guest
• If you are a guest from another eduroam-participating institution, you may use eduroam.

Wi-Fi Access

FAU provides Wi-Fi internet access across campus to anyone with a FAUNetID. Guests can connect to FAU Guest for wireless internet access with a SMS capable phone. Visitors from participating universities can use eduroam for access.

Available Networks

• FAU is recommended for basic internet access- Ideal for laptops, gaming, and smartphones.One-time device registration, see How to connect to FAU WiFi.
