Activate and Install Grammarly Premium
Faculty, staff, and students with an active FAU account can activate and use Grammarly Premium.

Prerequisite: You must have an active FAU account to use Grammarly Premium.
How to Activate Grammarly ▾
- Visit the Grammarly Activation page.
- Enter your FAU email address in the School Email field and select Continue.
- On the Sign Up page, enter your FAU email address, password, and name.
- Select Agree and Sign up.
- Sign in with your FAU credentials.
- Your Grammarly account should now be activated.
How to Install Grammarly ▾
- After activation, install Grammarly from the Welcome page.
- Select Download Grammarly.
- Run GrammarlyInstaller.exe by selecting the downloaded file.
- Follow the installation prompts.
- After the app is installed, sign in with your FAU account.
Troubleshooting ▾
- If Grammarly does not activate, confirm that you entered your FAU email address correctly.
- If you cannot sign in, confirm that your FAU account is active.
- If the installer does not run, check your Downloads folder and try running GrammarlyInstaller.exe again.
- If you are using an FAU-managed computer and cannot install the app, contact the Help Desk for assistance.
