This article explains how to review devices signed in to your Owl Apps Google account and remove account access from a device you no longer have available.
Important: If you are concerned that your account may be compromised, change your FAU password at
accounts.fau.edu.
Remove Owl Apps Access from a Device ▾
If you need to remove your FAU Google account from a device that you do not have available, use the account security page to review and remove signed-in devices.
- Sign in to your Google account using your FAUNet ID and password.
- Complete Microsoft Authenticator verification, if prompted.
- After signing in, select the Google apps menu in the top right corner, then select Manage Your Google Account.
- On the Account page, select Security & sign-in.
- Go to Your devices.
- Select Manage all devices.
- Click on the device you'd like to remove.
- Select Sign out.
After the account is removed, the device should be prompted to sign in again when attempting to access the account.
Troubleshooting ▾
- If you cannot sign in, confirm that your FAU credentials work for other FAU services.
- If prompted, approve the sign-in using Microsoft Authenticator.
- If you do not recognize a signed-in device, remove it and change your passwords.
- If removing a device does not work, sign out of all sessions if the option is available.
- If you believe your account is compromised, contact the Help Desk as soon as possible.
