WebCam Option: DroidCam on Android

DroidCam is an app that allows your Android Smartphone to function as a webcam for your computer (Works on Windows and Linux Computers). Follow these instructions to set up your computer and phone.

How to download the application

  1. On your PC, go to www.dev47apps.com    
  2. Download the Windows Client
  3. Follow the onscreen directions.
  4. Click the Google Play button and Install the app on your Android Phone
  5. Select DroidCam Wireless
  6. Connect via WiFi
  7. Your smartphone is now a webcam for your computer. You can select it from any software package that uses a webcam by choosing DroidCam in the list of cameras.
