OwlCloud is designed to help students and researchers learn how to use Native Cloud Computing Techniques. If you need to expose your services to users on the internet you may do so. Here are the service offerings.
- By default OwlCloud Kubernetes users may expose their applications using an Ingress Service and the name https://yourservicename.kub.hpc.fau.edu.
- If you require a different hostname, or DNS entry you must submit a Research Computing ticket to coordinate adjustments to the OwlCloud load balancer and LetsEncrypt certificate.
- By default, OwlCloud Virtual Machine servers may not expose their applications to the Internet. Users may request that a service be exposed by submitting a Research Computing call ticket.
