MFA Self-Recovery Tool- Generate Temporary Access Pass

If you do not have your MFA device available, please follow the steps below to gain a Temporary Access Passcode (TAP) to sign in, so that you can then setup a new device. 

1. Visit https://tap.iam.fau.edu click on the Microsoft Entra MFA Recovery Tile. 
    
2. Enter your FAUNet ID, check the box, and then CONTINUE.                                                                                    
    
3. If you have recovery options set, you will receive a TAP via email and/or SMS. (Depending on which recovery options you have set)
    
4. Click on REGISTER YOUR DEVICE.                                                                                                                           
    
5. Enter the TAP that you received and click Sign In.                                                                                                                               
    
6. IMPORTANT: Once signed in, it will take you to a page to manage your MFA devices. Select Add sign-in method to proceed with adding new device.
