Sending FAU mail through your personal gmail account

Make sure Allow Less Secure Apps is turned ON. You can find this by clicking on my account and under sign-in & security.

1. Login to your Personal Gmail account
2. Select the gear icon in the upper right and then Settings
3. Select the Accounts tab 
4. Under the send mail as section: click edit info for your fau email address
5. Make sure the following information is listed:

username@fau.edu

SMTP: smtp.gmail.com

TLS port: 587 

Username: username@fau.edu

Password: OWL APPS password (This may not be the same as your FAU account password)
