Change or Reset Your FAU Password 🔓
First Option: Known Good Password

In a web browser, go to https://accounts.iam.fau.edu/

Click on “Change Your Password”

Sign in

Then enter in your new password in the "New Password" &"Verify Password" fields then continue all the way throughout the process.
Second Option: Password Not Working
Use this option if the first option does not work.
There are two options for recovering your password: temporary passcode via SMS text message, or temporary passcode via an alternate email.

In a web browser, go to https://accounts.iam.fau.edu/

Click on “Forgot Your Password"

Enter your FAUNet ID, and check the box "I'm not a robot"

Follow the prompts to reset your password
To use SMS text or alternate email recovery, you must have set those up prior to forgetting your password.
Third Option: Reset with OIT Help Desk assistance
- Use this option if you do not have recovery options available.
