Users may see the following error message when accessing OnDemand:
This occurs when your home directory has not yet been created for the cluster. Please complete the following steps to create your home directory:
- On your computer, open Command Prompt or Terminal and run the following command.
Be sure to replace NETID with your Net ID:
ssh NETID@athene-login.hpc.fau.edu
- Sign in with your HPC password. If you forgot your HPC password, please reset it using the following tool:
https://access.hpc.fau.edu/rc
- Accept the Duo Mobile multi-factor authentication (MFA) sent to your phone.
- Once signed in your Terminal should read like the following. Your home directory is now created:
- Enter exit to sign out.
- Try accessing OnDemand again. You will now be able to access the site.
