How-to Disconnect from a Remote Desktop Session
After using Remote Desktop, you will likely still want your computer to remain on.
To close a Remote Desktop session without turning your computer off, select the white 'X' in the blue Remote Desktop bar at the top of your screen.
A box will pop-up stating that your remote session will be disconnected. Select OK.
The Remote Desktop session will close. The computer that you were connected to should remain on for the next time that you would like to use Remote Desktop.
If you have any questions or issues with Remote Desktop, please submit a request
here
and a technician will be happy to assist you.
