Role Types in Interfolio:
- Faculty User – an individual account in the system used for reporting activities or undergoing reviews. Users have access to their own data only; other faculty can still grant emulation rights to these users.
- Unit Administrator (FAR) - Users have access to specified setup options, administrative functions, reports, and other users' accounts. This role is reserved for Dept. Chairs/School Directors, Associate Deans, and Deans.
- Support Account (FAR) - Support Accounts are created for staff and non-faculty members who need administrative access to FAR (such as to run reports) but may not have full admin rights.
- Case Manager (RPT) - Users can take most actions across all cases in their unit, including creating cases, and editing workflows, requirements, and instructions. Case managers can manage case-specific settings and committees, and view/manage standing committees for their unit. Case Managers cannot manage templates, view reports, or manage account settings for the institution.
- Template Administrator (RPT) - Users can create and edit templates in their unit. They cannot create cases, view reports or manage account settings.
