Open OnDemand helps computational researchers and students efficiently utilize remote computing resources by making them easy to access from any device. It helps computer center staff support a wide range of clients by simplifying the user interface and experience.
One of OnDemand's key features is easy file management via a web interface.
To start using OnDemands File Explorer visit your preferred OnDemand instance.
Click FIles and select Home Directory
This will open the OnDemand File Explorer and display the contents of your home directory.
From here you may drag and drop from Windows Explorer, Mac Finder, and Linux Directory browsers directly to the Research Computing Clusters's home directory or you can use the upload button to upload individual or small groups of files.
The File Explorer interface also allows users to edit text files, open a terminal at the current location, create new files, create new directories, copy, paste, and delete files.
