Research Computing

Request access to, installation of, or support for hardware and software related to Research Computing.

High Performance Computing (HPC) at Florida Atlantic University provides students, faculty, and researchers with high-power computing resources. The HPC service is hosted on the Jupiter MacArthur campus.

What Is an HPC Cluster?
An HPC cluster is a group of interconnected computers that work together in parallel to solve computationally intensive problems — delivering supercomputing-level performance at a fraction of the cost. The cluster consists of multiple nodes connected by a high-speed network interconnect, enabling users to run demanding workloads efficiently.

Who Can Access theme?
FAU students, faculty, and researchers may request access to HPC resources to investigate a wide range of research problems.
